Street work is mostly about where to stand and when to stop walking. These 5 put a working photographer beside you for a couple of hours in Tokyo, Rome and elsewhere, priced by the session and sized for small groups.
Spend about three hours photographing Tokyo after dark with a professional guide such as Charles, Lukasz, or Stephane. You’ll work on composition, long exposure, camera settings, and phone photography in Kabukicho, Omoide Yokocho, and around Shibuya Crossing. Groups are limited to four.

Start with coffee at Cafe Linh77, then follow photographer Fred Wissink or Kevin Lee through Saigon’s old apartments, hardware market, alleys, and Buddhist temple. You’ll learn practical street photography, ways to approach people, and how to use light, angles, and composition with any camera or phone.

Join photographer Clara for a private two-hour street photography walk from Place des Abbesses through Montmartre. You’ll practice composition, storytelling, and smartphone or camera skills while seeking views, rooftops, the cemetery, and memorable street scenes. English guidance and a small parting gift are included.

Join photographer Ed Fil for a three-hour, hands-on street photography workshop around London Bridge, Borough Market, the City, and Tate Modern. You will practice composition, light, camera control, and candid city scenes in a group of no more than five, then take your images home on a 16-GB SD card.

Spend eight hours photographing Kolkata with an English-speaking local guide and private air-conditioned cab.
