Street work is mostly about where to stand and when to stop walking. These 15 put a working photographer beside you for a couple of hours in Tokyo, Rome and elsewhere, priced by the session and sized for small groups.
Spend about three hours photographing Tokyo after dark with a professional guide such as Charles, Lukasz, or Stephane. You’ll work on composition, long exposure, camera settings, and phone photography in Kabukicho, Omoide Yokocho, and around Shibuya Crossing. Groups are limited to four.

You’ll learn practical street photography, ways to approach people, and how to use light, angles, and composition with any camera or phone.

Join photographer Clara for a private two-hour street photography walk from Place des Abbesses through Montmartre. You’ll practice composition, storytelling, and smartphone or camera skills while seeking views, rooftops, the cemetery, and memorable street scenes. English guidance and a small parting gift are included.

Spend about 3.5 hours photographing Istanbul with a private guide such as Zehra, Can, or Hakki. You’ll work on framing and street technique while visiting fishermen, old hans, workshops, Sirkeci, Eminonu, Galata Bridge, and Taksim Square. Bring a camera, phone, or GoPro.

Join photographer Lukács Gábor for a private, three-hour walk through Budapest. You will work on artistic images, capture iconic sights in golden-hour light, and receive practical advice for getting more from your camera. The tour is in English and begins at Anna Café at 1:00 pm.

Explore a little-seen Hanoi neighborhood with a photography instructor, photographing Soviet-inspired housing, markets, tea stalls, repair shops, playgrounds, and local life. Guides such as Mike, Son, and James have helped visitors improve camera settings while explaining the area’s culture. Groups are capped at four.

Meet photographers Cyrus and Marc on Fleet Street for a six-hour London street photography workshop. You’ll study composition, light, colour, and confidence with strangers, submit photos for critique, and shoot on practical assignments in a group of no more than eight.
